The Beginning of CAYC

It all begins with a simple idea—one that holds the potential to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of young people. What if we could create an environment that not only shapes their futures but also draws them closer to God? A place where they could grow in their relationship with Him and be empowered to live according to His purpose for their lives?

CAYC was conceived with the vision of uniting youth from across the Pacific Northwest to experience the transformative power of the Holy Ghost. The goal was to create a space where young apostolic saints could come together, deepen their walk with God, and form lasting relationships with others who share their faith.

The vision for CAYC was nurtured over several years by Pastor Wark, who, as the principal force behind its creation, sought to provide young people with an opportunity to experience both spiritual renewal and lasting fellowship. With a deep desire to see youth thrive in their faith, Pastor Wark envisioned a camp where young people could engage in meaningful worship, connect with others, and be challenged to serve God with all their hearts.

After months of searching for the perfect location, the ideal setting was found at Cascades Camp & Conference Center. Located at the foot of Mt. Rainier, with scenic trails and lodging surrounding Elbow Lake, this picturesque location provided a perfect backdrop for both spiritual growth and fellowship.

CAYC’s mission is clear: to host an annual, conservative apostolic youth camp that makes a lasting impact. Each year, dynamic preachers are invited to inspire and challenge the youth, helping them grow in their faith and understand God’s calling for their lives. Alongside powerful ministry, engaging games, activities, and skits are designed for both junior and senior campers, ensuring that they leave with unforgettable memories and a renewed commitment to their faith.
