Female Counselor
Counselor Requirements for Church Groups
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all campers, each church group is asked to provide counselors based on the number of campers attending:
1 counselor is required for every 9 campers (minimum of 1 counselor for up to 9 campers).
For 10–18 campers, your group should provide 2–3 counselors.
Counselors will be housed in the dorms with campers and will receive all meals during their stay, provided in the dining hall.
We strongly encourage churches to send both male and female counselors when possible. All counselors must be at least 20 years old and have permission from their pastor to serve.

CAYC 2025 – June 18th–21st
As a counselor at CAYC, you will be assigned to a cabin with up to nine campers under your care. Each cabin includes bunk beds for the campers and a queen-size bed for the counselor (please bring your own bedding). All meals during your stay are provided in the dining hall.
Each cabin will also have its own unique name and flag, encouraging team identity and unity. As a counselor, your responsibilities include:
Ensuring your campers attend all scheduled activities, meals, and church services
Overseeing the cleanliness and upkeep of your cabin by guiding campers in daily responsibilities
Helping enforce and model camp rules and behavioral expectations
Providing spiritual guidance and being a positive influence throughout the camp experience
While the role comes with responsibility, it is also a meaningful opportunity to pour into the lives of young people—the future of the Apostolic movement.
Staff
As a member of the CAYC staff team, you will work closely with the leadership of YJNPC (Youth & Junior Northwest Pentecostal Camp) to help ensure a smooth and safe camp experience for all. Staff lodging is provided in a dedicated staff lodge, and all meals are served in the dining hall. Staff roles vary and may include logistics, operations, hospitality, support for activities, and more.
